15th December 2010 - Last Gig Of The Year...

The M6 is one of my least favourite motorways but having Offerton School in Stockport at the end of the journey made it all worthwhile.  I was with a wonderful group of year 11 students for the day delivering Super Speed Study Skills with the added bonus of working with some passionate teachers.

Student Feedback
"I found it very enjoyable and I actually think that Mindmaps could be useful and this wasn't the case beforehand". - Aaron

"It was really enjoyable, everyone was joining in and it felt really relaxed. I now understand how to revise effectively." - Jessica
"It was really fun, everyone was having a good time and we know how to revise." - Rachel
"Given me more ideas for fun revision and motivated me to try my best." - Deena
"Learnt loads of facts and new ideas for fun revision and exam planning." - Ellen

Teacher Feedback
"Reiterated and reinforced study skills often covered by staff in the school.  Always useful to have someone from "outside" to do this." - Richard Leak
"Session left the majority of C/D borderline group actively engaged for the whole afternoon.  I am sure that having seen Mindmaps before, that students are convinced of their learning value". - John O'Gorman
