May 2011...

Back To Roade
It was a pleasure to return to Roade School and work with Year 10 students again.  Early in the month, I worked with them for one hour delivering a Speedy Study Skills session introducing them to a range of techniques.  Session two was Employable You looking at how to make a difference to what you have to offer in the future.  Next month I will return for Goal Setting and Motivation.

Broadway Superstars
Here is a lovely article written by Alan David Pritchard on the Positively MAD website...

Positively MAD was recently invited by Broadway School in Birmingham to provide a combined parent-pupil motivational event.  Blending goal-setting and motivation, the event was aimed at students in years 7 – 11 and their parents, and was delivered by the irrepressible and highly engaging speaker, Mark Kennedy.
Using his talent for delighting audiences with real-life anecdotes, and mixing common sense with highly motivational content, Mark challenged his audience to think about what they really want in life and how to motivate themselves to achieve their goals.
Staff, parents and students all found the presentation to be entertaining, enlightening and very worthwhile.
Here is a sample of the feedback that Mark received for this inspirational learning experience.
